Gerald is the Founder of LightForce Financial and has spent over 20 years as a financial planner helping multi-generational families and small businesses develop plans to achieve their individual needs and desires.

From an early age Gerald has been focused on entrepreneurship and service. In high school, he and a friend developed a hay hauling business every summer that paid for his education through college.

Gerald holds a BBA with a focus on finance and statistics from UNT. After graduation, while serving in the United States Marine Corp Reserve, Gerald began a long career in mid-management of a large retail food chain.

After leaving that company, Gerald desired the opportunity to build his own business to serve clients that would be of value and positively impact their lives. So, he returned to his roots and began his journey as a Financial Professional in 1999.

Gerald became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER in 2009, and now serves clients as an Independent CFP on a fee only basis, no commissions.

Continuing his focus on service, Gerald has served the Town of Flower Mound on various commissions and boards, is a member of the Flower Mound Chamber, the Summit Club of Flower Mound, and the Flower Mound Rotary Club. Rotary service has enabled him to assist people not only in his community, but also international communities all over the world.

Gerald has lived in Flower Mound for over 30 years with his wife and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren
